Interactive installation for SXSW 2023
The Responsive Light Forest was an immersive installation created for SXSW 2023 that transformed a standard event space into a dynamic, interactive forest of light. Visitors walked through an environment where custom-programmed LED towers responded to their movements and interactions, creating a collaborative experience that evolved throughout the event.
Using a combination of motion sensors, pressure-sensitive floor panels, and real-time audio analysis, the light forest adapted to both individual movements and collective activity within the space. The installation encouraged exploration and play, with each interaction triggering unique light patterns and ambient soundscapes.
